Exempted Categories from Election Duty 

The Commission has exempted certain officers from being drafted for election duty in view of essential nature of duties / service discharged by them.

02. The Officers and staff of following departments will not be requisitioned for deployment of election duty.

Senior Officers of the Indian Forest Service as notified by ECI 

Doctors and Compounders working in veterinary Hospitals election duty

Medical staff including Doctors, Nurses, ANMs etc. (except on health related)

Territorial staff of Forest Department

Staff and All india Radio Department

Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathic Medical Officer of Ayush Dept (Except on health)

Officers of Rure!brangh of commercial bank if it is a single officer branch Operational Officers /Staff of ÜPSC

03 However, it is further to be noted that any official due to retire within 6 months time or who has already retired but is on extension of service or re-employed should not be drafted for any election related duty.

04. All pregnant women and lactating mothers, whether on maternity leave or not or women staff who are otherwise on medical advice not to undertake any rigorous or hazardous work, may be exempted from election duty.

05. Physically challenged persons with disabilities as defined under the "Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act 2016 should be deployed on election duty only under unavoidable circumstances,.In the case of physically handicapped persons (including visually handicapped and deaf and dumb persons) it may be considered whether any handicapped person as aforesaid would be able to go to the Polling station / Counting centre and perform election duties there If any person would not be a position to perform election duties. He must be exempted subject to the satisfaction of the District Election Officer / Returning Officer.

சில அதிகாரிகளால் நிறைவேற்றப்படும் கடமைகள் / சேவையின் அத்தியாவசிய தன்மையைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, தேர்தல் பணிக்காக வரைவு செய்யப்படுவதிலிருந்து ஆணையம் விலக்கு அளித்துள்ளது. 

02. பின்வரும் துறைகளின் அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் பணியாளர்கள் தேர்தல் பணிக்காக அழைக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள். 

 இந்திய வனத்துறை மூத்த அதிகாரிகள், ECI 

கால்நடை மருத்துவமனைகளில்  பணிபுரியும் மருத்துவர்கள் மற்றும் கம்பவுண்டர்கள்

 

மருத்துவர்கள், செவிலியர்கள், ANMகள் உள்ளிட்ட மருத்துவ ஊழியர்கள் (சுகாதாரம் தொடர்பானவை தவிர)

வனத்துறையின் பிராந்திய ஊழியர்கள் 

அகில இந்திய வானொலித் துறை 

ஆயுஷ் துறையின் ஆயுர்வேத, யுனானி மற்றும் ஹோமியோபதி மருத்துவ அதிகாரி (சுகாதாரம் தவிர) 

வணிக வங்கியின் கிராமப்புற கிளையின் அதிகாரிகள், அது ஒரு அதிகாரி கிளையாக இருந்தால், 

UPSC இன் செயல்பாட்டு அதிகாரிகள் / ஊழியர்கள் 

03. 6 மாதங்களுக்குள் ஓய்வு பெற வேண்டிய அல்லது ஏற்கனவே ஓய்வு பெற்ற ஆனால் சேவை நீட்டிப்பில் உள்ள அல்லது மீண்டும் பணியமர்த்தப்பட்ட எந்தவொரு அதிகாரியையும் தேர்தல் தொடர்பான எந்தவொரு பணிக்கும் சேர்க்கக்கூடாது என்பதை மேலும் கவனத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். 

04. மகப்பேறு விடுப்பில் இருந்தாலும் இல்லாவிட்டாலும், மருத்துவ ஆலோசனையின் பேரில் எந்தவொரு கடுமையான அல்லது ஆபத்தான வேலையையும் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டாம் என்று பணியமர்த்தப்பட்ட அனைத்து கர்ப்பிணிப் பெண்கள் மற்றும் பாலூட்டும் தாய்மார்களும், தேர்தல் பணியிலிருந்து விலக்கு அளிக்கப்படலாம்.

05. "மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் (சம வாய்ப்புகள் உரிமைகள் பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் முழு பங்கேற்பு) சட்டம் 2016 இன் கீழ் வரையறுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளபடி, உடல் ஊனமுற்ற நபர்கள் தவிர்க்க முடியாத சூழ்நிலைகளில் மட்டுமே தேர்தல் பணியில் ஈடுபடுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். உடல் ஊனமுற்ற நபர்களின் விஷயத்தில் (பார்வை குறைபாடுகள் உள்ளவர்கள் மற்றும் காது கேளாதவர்கள் மற்றும் வாய் பேச முடியாதவர்கள் உட்பட) மேற்கூறிய எந்தவொரு மாற்றுத்திறனாளியும் வாக்குச்சாவடி / வாக்கு எண்ணும் மையத்திற்குச் சென்று அங்கு தேர்தல் பணிகளைச் செய்ய முடியுமா என்பது பரிசீலிக்கப்படலாம், யாராவது தேர்தல் பணிகளைச் செய்ய முடியாத நிலையில் இருந்தால். மாவட்ட தேர்தல் அதிகாரி / தேர்தல் அதிகாரியின் திருப்திக்கு உட்பட்டு அவருக்கு விலக்கு அளிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
