பள்ளிகளில் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ள திறன்மிகு பலகை ( SMART BOARD ) மற்றும் உயர் தொழில் நுட்ப ஆய்வகம் ( HIGH TECH LAB) முறையாக பயன்படுத்த ஏதுவாக பள்ளி ஆசிரியர் ஒருவரை பொறுப்பாசிரியராக ( NODAL TEACHER) நியமனம் செய்யவும், திறன்மிகு பலகை மற்றும் உயர் தொழில் நுட்ப ஆய்வகம் மூலம் கற்றல் கற்பித்தல் நடைபெறுவதை பள்ளிப்பார்வையின் போது உறுதி செய்திடவும் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.

Elementary Education - Usage of ICT facilities in ICT Schools-Allocation of ICT Nodal Teachers and Conduct of One Day Training - Regarding.

With reference to the letter cited above, it is stated that the maintenance of Smart Classrooms, Hi-Tech laboratories and Tablets is crucial to ensure the long-term effectiveness and sustainability of the digital initiatives undertaken by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Hence it is decided to nominate one teacher in each school as "ICT Nodal Teacher"to ensure the functionalities of Smart Classrooms and Hi-Tech Labs. Following are the roles and responsibilities of ICT Nodal Teacher:
> Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all ICT activities of the school.
> To ensure the proper functioning of Tablets, Smart Classroom and Hi-Tech Lab along with Internet during the school working hours.
> Follow the timetable provided from the Directorate for 100% utilization of Hi-Tech Lab and Smart Classroom.
> To ensure classes are conducted using the SCERT contents.
> Work along with the Administrator-cum-Instructor on day-to-day activities.
> To ensure safety policies and guidelines which are followed by students, teachers and others who are utilizing the Hi-Tech Lab and Smart Classroom.
> Follow-up with CCC helpdesk number 044 - 4011 6100 / Online ticketing system for any technical issues related to Hi-Tech Lab and Smart Classroom till resolution.
> Inform the authorities concerned and the higher officials of School Education Department in case of fire, theft and flood and coordinate with M/s. KELTRON and Government authorities till closure of issue.
> Any other activities related to Hi-Tech Lab and Smart Classroom.
> For any queries /issues related to Internet, contact 18004444 (BSNL Helpline)
It is also decided to conduct a One Day training for Headmasters and ICT Nodal Teachers of all ICT schools through ONLINE mode by M/s. KELTRON. Training manual will be circulated at the time of training.
Hence , All District Education Officeras (Elementary) are instructed to inform the concerned school Headmasters through respective Block Education officers to nominate one teacher as " ICT Nodal Teacher" in their schools and to ensure that the nominated teacher executes the above mentioned roles and responsibilities without any fail.
