Dear Coordinators,
This is a Quiz being organized to create awareness about the importance of Insurance.
Only students from Government schools of grades 8 and 9 can register for this quiz.
I request that this information is shared with all middle, high and higher secondary school HMs and teachers in your district so that we encourage students to participate in the quiz and get to know the importance of Insurance.
This year we saw that our children were able to do wonders in the quiz competition at the state level. Let us provide them opportunity to participate and explore themselves.
Share it with the BRTEs group and ask them to share with their schools please.
Once they register, they will get the study material via email.
Exciting prizes are provided and this is a great opportunity to explore their quizzing talent.

பார்வையில் கானும் கடிதத்தின்படி மாணவர்கள் தங்கள் பாடபுத்தகங்களுக்கு அப்பால் சென்று காப்பீடு தொடர்பான விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்திட HDFC ERGO நிறுவனம் செயல்படுகிறது. காப்பீடு நிறுவனத்தால் ஜீனியர் வினாடி வினா போட்டிகள் 2016ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருவதாகவும் தற்போது தமிழகத்திலுள்ள பள்ளி மாணவர்களும் பங்கு பெற அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதில் அரசு பள்ளிகளில் பயிலும் 8 மற்றும் 9-ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் தகுதியுடையவர்களாவர். ஆரம்ப சுற்று ஜனவரி மாதம் முதல் வாரத்திலும் (Online) மூலமும், மண்டல சுற்று ஜனவரி மாதம் மூன்றாம் வாரத்திலும் (Zoom) மூலமும் நடைபெறுவதாகவும் கிராண்ட் ஸ்டேட் பைனல் சென்னையில் தேசில் நடக்கும் நிகழ்வு ஜனவரி மாதம் இறுதி வரத்தில் நடைபெறுவதாகவும் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒவ்வொரு பள்ளியும் 1 முதல் 3 குழுக்களை பதிவு செய்திடலாம்.
இதனை சார்ந்து பெறப்பட்ட கடிதம் அனைத்து மாவட்ட முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலர்களுக்கும் அனுப்பப்படுகிறது.

Dear Sir/Madam,
We are delighted to present an eniniching opportunity for your students to participate in the HDFC ERGO State insurance Quiz 2026-Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Chapter, an initiative dedicated to building insurance awareness among school children.
Insurance plays a crucial role in ensuring financial security and resilience during unforeseen circumstances. We believe that empowering young minds with this knowledge at an early stage helps them grow into financially responsible and well-informed citizens. Since 2016, HDFC ERGO has been conducting the Insurance Awareness Quiz at the national level, reaching nearly 25 lakh students across 200+ cities, establishing it as one of India's most impactful student initiatives. In studen with IRDAI's vision of Insurance for All by 2047", we are committed to nurturing inse insurance line with literacy and expanding its reach across the country.
To take this commitment deeper into the grassroots, we launched the insurance Awareness Quiz-Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Chapter in 2024. The response has been extremely encouraging during the first two editions.
1st edition: 211 teams from 124 Government schools across 42 districts 2nd edition: 488 teams from 342 Government schools across Tamil Nad
Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
We are confident that the 3rd edition will continue to motivate students, make insurance learning engaging, and strengthen their understanding of financial protection
Students from Grades 8 and 9 of government schools in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are eligible to participate. Each team will consist consist of of two two students s (both from Grade 8, both from Grade 9, or a mix of both. Every school may nominate up to three teams for the quiz
To help participants prepare effectively, we will provide a comprehensive digital study booklet covering essential insurance concepts. This booklet will be shared with all registered students
The quiz will progress through multiple rounds as per the announced timelines. For teams qualifying for the Semifinals and and Grand Grand Finale, Fina travel arrangements will be taken care of by us. The winners of the Grand Finale, along with other finalists, will receive cash prizes, and all finalists will also be taken on an exciting half-day educational tour within Chennai. The Grand Finale will be covered extensively by regional media, giving students a platform to showcase their achievement.
