>>>அரசு ஐடிஐ மாணவர்களுக்கும் இலவச சைக்கிள்கள்

பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு இலவச சைக்கிள்கள் வழங்கப்படுவதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக, தற்போது அரசு ஐடிஐ -களில் படிக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கும் இலவச சைக்கிள்கள் வழங்கப்படும் என தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.

இதுதொடர்பாக அரசு அறிவிப்பில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது: அரசால் நடத்தப்படும் ஐடிஐ கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பெரும்பாலும் ஏழை, எளிய குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களே பயின்று வருகின்றனர். அவர்கள் தங்களின் இல்லங்களில் இருந்து கல்வி நிறுவனத்திற்கு சென்று வருவதில் பல்வேறு சிரமங்கள் உள்ளன.

இதனை கருத்தில்கொண்டு, கல்வி நிறுவனத்திற்கான அவர்களின் போக்குவரத்தை எளிதாக்கும் வண்ணம், இலவச சைக்கிள்கள் வழங்கப்படும்.

இதற்கென, அரசின் சார்பில் சுமார் ரூ.6 கோடியே 36 லட்சம் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன்மூலம், அரசு ஐடிஐ -களில் படித்துவரும் 21925 மாணவ-மாணவிகள் பயன்பெறுவர் என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• பிரான்சிடம் இருந்து சாட் விடுதலையை அறிவித்தது(1960)
