Shiksha - School Standards and Evaluation * Process of Self and External Evaluation for the year 2A22-23 and 2023-24 - regarding The National lnstitute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), under
the guidance of Ministry of Human Resource Development (tt/HRD) is leading the National Programme on School Standards and Evaluation (NPSSE). This programme envisions reaching all schools of the country by creating a sustainable and institutionalized system of school evaluation. lt is rooted in evidence based international and national researches on school evaluation practices. This programme is being implemented in all Government and Government Aided
schools across the state since 2016-17. As per the instruction and guidelines of NIEPA, each and every school should complete both Self and External Evaluation. ln this context, during the academic year 2016-17,2Q18-19, 2019-20,2020-21and 2021-22 the self-evaluation of schools has been completed in all Government and Government Aided schools of the State and the data has been uploaded in the SSE web portal. ln continuation of this, all Districts are informed to complete the process of $elfs
Evaluation for the year 2A22-23. ln specific, it is informed that the School Standards and Evaluation dashboard will be available till September 30, 2023 and hence it is requested to complete the process of Self-Evaluation for the year 2A22-23 on or before the date mentioned. ln this regard, all the Chief Educational Officers are informed to instruct all
Government and Government Aided schools of the Districts concerned to complete the process of Self-Evaluation of School Standards and Evaluation for the year ?022-23 within the stipulated time.
