Sir/ Madam,
I invite kind reference to the Goverment orders above cited.
In the reference 1s cited , the Goverment have issued orders amending the Subsidiary rule 14 under Treasury rule 16 in Tamil Nadu Treasury Code, Volume -I as
"Provided that the Dearness Allowance (DA) arrear shall be claimed in the monthly salary bill along with arrear, if any, positively on the same month consequent on the enhancement of the Dearness Allowance as ordered by the Government from time to time"
In the reference 2nd, 3d and 40 cited, Government have issued orders for enhancement of Dearness Allowance from 01/01/2025 for employees and Pensioners.
In this regard, it is informed that the arrears of Dearness Allowance for employees and pensioners may be admitted/claimed along with the pay bill of this month(05/2025).
