மேலே குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள link ல் உள்ள 10 videoக்களையும் பார்த்துவிடவும்.

An online meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Education and the Technical Team was held on 03.07.2026.
It is informed that the Ministry of Education has introduced PRASHAST 2.0, an online disability screening module for the early identification of Children with Special Needs (CwSN) in schools for the academic year 2026-2027. As part of its nationwide rollout, an online sensitisation training programme has been initiated for all Headmasters, Teachers and Special Educators to prepare them for the disability screening of students. In this regard, all the Chief Educational Officers are requested to ensure that the sensitisation training is completed by every Headmaster, Teacher and Special Educator within the stipulated timeline. The guidelines to be followed for the implementation of the Prashast
2.0-sensitisation training programme are furnished below.
1. Every school with a UDISE Code shall complete the sensitisation training. The training is mandatory for all teachers working in schools including:
Headmasters/Principals
All Government School Teachers
Government Aided School Teachers
Private School Teachers
2. Teachers shall log in using the School UDISE Code and the Mobile Number registered in the UDISE+ Portal. Only the registered mobile number can be used for accessing the training module.
Special Educators
3. Training Module
The training module consists of 10 video modules.
Each teacher must watch all the videos available in their login.
Videos cannot be fast-forwarded or skipped.
Teachers may exit and continue later.
The system automatically resumes from the last viewed position.
4. Training Status
The training dashboard will display the following status:

Video has been watched fully.
In Progress
Video has been partially watched.
Pending
Video has not yet been viewed.
Teachers should ensure that all videos show "Completed".
5. Important
Completion of all the sensitisation videos is mandatory. Unless every video is completed, the teachers cannot proceed to the disability screening of students.
6. Classroom Observation after Completion of Training
After completing the training, teachers shall begin systematic classroom observation.
Teachers should observe students during regular classroom activities and identify children
who consistently experience difficulties such as:
Walking or moving
Climbing stairs
Using hands
Reading
Writing
Seeing
Hearing
Speaking
Understanding lessons
Paying attention
Communicating
Eating
Behavioural or social interaction
Any other developmental concerns explained in the training videos.
7. Teachers shall maintain a separate observation notebook and record the following details

The observations should be based on repeated classroom experiences and not on a single incident.
8. Responsibility of BRTES
At the Block level, the Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRTEs) shall ensure 100% enrolment of all Headmasters, Teachers and Special Educators in the PRASHAST 2.0 sensitisation training module and monitor the completion of all ten sensitisation videos by every teacher.
They shall regularly review the training completion status during their school visit, provide timely support to schools facing login or technical issues and ensure that all schools are fully prepared before the commencement of the disability screening process scheduled from August 2026.
All Chief Educational Officers are requested to disseminate these instructions. immediately to all District Educational Officers, Block Educational Officers, BRTES and schools under their jurisdiction and ensure strict compliance with the above guidelines within the prescribed timeline.
