Sub: Buildings — COVID-19 — Guidelines on Preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID -19 — Mandatory to wear Face Masks in work place-Instructions — Regarding.

In the U.0 Note cited certain instructions have been issued to follow the Guidelines issued by the Government of India. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in workplace I Public place. Among others. It has been instructed that the use of face mask by all the Staff and visitors of Secretarial is Mandatory. 2. However, it has been observed that few of the staff/visitors are not wearing lace masks in the Secretarial premises which is in violation of the SOP/Guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Workplace / Public place. Hence, all the OP Sections of the Departments of Secretariat are hereby instructed as follows:
- To strictly enforce proper wearing of face Masks by all the Staff Members in workplace/Office Premises.
- Staff/ Visitors shall not be allowed to enter office premises/ workplace without properly wearing face masks.
- To take necessary departmental action against the Staff who do not wear lace masks inside office premises/ workplace.
The above instructions may be adhered to scrupulously.
