Treasure Hunt - Guidelines and Rules
Date: 25 Aug 2024 - Sunday
Time: 3 PM (Report at 02:45 PM)
Starting Point: Pallavan Illam (Pallavan Salai, Chennai)
Please read the following instructions carefully before registering:
Team Composition:
Each team must consist of 2-3 members.
One member must be designated as the Team Leader who will act as the primary point of contact and ensure team coordination.
This hunt is open to participants aged 16 and above.
Registration and Expenses:
No registration fee is required to participate in the hunt.
However, team members should carry sufficient cash as change - at least ₹100 per
head - to purchase bus tickets as needed during the event.
Event Duration and Travel:
The hunt will last approximately 3 hours.
Teams should be prepared to travel around the city using to solve and crack clues sequentially.
Teams are required to travel by MTC buses only. The use of personal vehicles is strictly prohibited.
Tasks and Challenges:
Teams will be required to perform specific tasks as part of the hunt.
These tasks may vary in nature, requiring problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.
Essential Items:
Teams are encouraged to carry the following items:
Pens for writing down clues and solving puzzles.
Small bag to store papers and tickets
collected along the way
Water bottles to stay hydrated.
Caps/umbrellas for weather protection.
Safety and Conduct:
The Team Leader is responsible for the safety and well-being of all team members throughout the event.
Teams must adhere to all traffic rules and behave respectfully towards the public.
Participants are advised to stay together as a team at all times.
Communication:
Use of mobile phones is allowed. Movement of teams maybe tracked via a designated WhatsApp group.
We may contact you during the hunt. Ensure that the Team Leader’s phone number is active and reachable always.
Health Precautions:
Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for walking and physical activity.
If any team member has health concerns, please inform the organizers beforehand.
Disqualification:
Any team found cheating, breaking the rules, or engaging in unsafe behavior will be disqualified immediately.
The decision of the organizers will be final in all matters.
