The following district level Nodal Officers are appointed for implementing the Project Veer Gatha 3.0 concern all schools in Tamil Nadu. Project Veer Gatha was instituted under Gallantry Awards Portal (GAP) in 2021 with the aim to disseminate the details of acts of bravery of the Gallantry Awardees and the life stories of these brave hearts among the students so as to raise the spirit of patriotism and instill amongst them values of civic consciousness. Project Veer Gatha deepened this noble aim by providing a platform to the school students to do creative projects/activities based on gallantry award winners. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) in collaboration with Ministry of Education (MOE) has now decided to launch Project Veer Gatha 3.0 in the current year 2023-24. As part of this, the students can frame different projects such as poem/ paragraph / story / drawing / video on gallantry award winners. The submission by the students can be made in any of the 22 Scheduled languages and English. There will be winners at every level i.e. District Level, State & National Level. The winner at National Level will be felicitated jointly by Ministry of Education, Government of India & Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India at Delhi. All the winners at District & State will be felicitated by respective District & State.
In this connection, it has been decided that Project Veer Gatha (3.0) will be launched on MyGov Platform (for all the schools irrespective of School Education Board) for facilitating larger participation of students from all school Boards in the country.
The following officers are nominated as Nodal Officers at District Level for project Veera Gatha 3.0.
