ORDER:
In the Government order first read above, the Government had accorded administrative approval, for a sum of Rs.10 crore [Rs. 20 lakh per School for 50 Government Schools] for implementing the "Green School Scheme" from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board's fund and the Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change was requested to forward the list of 50 Schools to Government for implementing the above scheme.
2. In the letter second read above, the Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change has furnished a list of 46 schools to implement the Green School Scheme for the year 2023-2024.
3. The Government after careful consideration accept the request and permit the Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change for transferring the fund of Rs.9.20 Crores for 46 Schools at Rs.20 lakhs per School, as listed in the Annexure to this order, to the Commissioner of School Education to implement the "Green School Scheme". The above expenditure will be met from Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board's Fund and should be incurred as detailed in the Government Order first read above along with the Green Protocol mentioned therein.
