Under Unified Pension Scheme UPS, at the time of retirement, a subscriber is eligible to receive benefits
ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஓய்வூதியத் திட்டம் UPS இன் கீழ், ஓய்வு பெறும் நேரத்தில், ஒரு சந்தாதாரர் கீழே உள்ள சலுகைகளைப் பெற தகுதியுடையவர்:
i. குறைந்தபட்சம் 25 ஆண்டுகள் தகுதிவாய்ந்த சேவைக்கு, ஓய்வு பெறுவதற்கு முந்தைய கடந்த 12 மாதங்களில் பெறப்பட்ட சராசரி அடிப்படை ஊதியத்தில் 50% என்ற விகிதத்தில் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட ஊதியம். குறைந்தபட்சம் 10 ஆண்டுகள் வரையிலான குறைந்த சேவை காலத்திற்கு இந்த ஊதியம் விகிதாசாரமாக இருக்கும்.
ii. சட்டப்பூர்வமாக திருமணமான வாழ்க்கைத் துணைக்கு, பணியாளரின் இறப்பிற்கு முன், அவருக்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட 60% குடும்ப ஓய்வூதியம் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டது.
iii. குறைந்தபட்சம் 10 ஆண்டுகள் தகுதிவாய்ந்த சேவைக்குப் பிறகு, ஓய்வூதியத்தின் போது மாதத்திற்கு ரூ.10,000 குறைந்தபட்ச ஊதியம் உறுதி செய்யப்படும்.
iv. உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட ஊதியம், உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட குடும்ப ஊதியம் மற்றும் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட குறைந்தபட்ச ஊதியம் ஆகியவற்றின் மீதான பணவீக்க குறியீட்டு முறை.
சேவை செய்யும் ஊழியர்களைப் போலவே, தொழில்துறை தொழிலாளர்களுக்கான அகில இந்திய நுகர்வோர் விலைக் குறியீட்டை (AICPI-IW) அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு அகவிலைப்படி நிவாரணம் வழங்கப்படும்.
v. பணி நிறைவு செய்யப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு ஆறு மாதங்களுக்கும், பணி ஓய்வுத் தேதியன்று மாதாந்திர ஊதியத்தில் 1/10 பங்கு (அடிப்படை ஊதியம் + DA) என்ற விகிதத்தில் பணிக்கொடையுடன் கூடுதலாக, ஓய்வூதியத் தொகையின் மொத்தத் தொகை வழங்கப்படும். இந்தக் கட்டணம், உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட ஊதியத்தின் அளவைக் குறைக்காது.
vi. ஊதியம் தொடங்கியவுடன், ஊழியர்களின் பணிக்காலத்தில் சம்பளத்திலிருந்து கழிக்கப்பட்ட பங்களிப்பைத் திரும்பப் பெறுவதற்கான ஏற்பாடு இல்லை. இருப்பினும், UPS சந்தாதாரர் அல்லது சட்டப்பூர்வமாக திருமணம் செய்துகொண்ட வாழ்க்கைத் துணை, சூழ்நிலையைப் பொறுத்து, தனிப்பட்ட கார்பஸ் அல்லது பெஞ்ச்மார்க் கார்பஸில் 60% க்கு மிகாமல் தொகையை திரும்பப் பெறுவதற்கான விருப்பம் இருக்கும், இதில் எது குறைவாக இருக்கிறதோ, அது அடிப்படை விதிகள் 56(j) இன் கீழ், ஓய்வு அல்லது தன்னார்வ ஓய்வூதியம் அல்லது ஓய்வூதிய தேதியில் UPS உடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள PRAN இல் கிடைக்கும், அத்தகைய UPS சந்தாதாரருக்கு செலுத்த வேண்டிய உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட பேஅவுட்டில் விகிதாசாரக் குறைப்புக்கு உட்பட்டது.

Under UPS, at the time of retirement, a subscriber is eligible to receive benefits as below:
i. Assured payout at rate of 50% of the average basic pay drawn over the last 12 months prior to superannuation for a minimum qualifying service of 25 years. This payout to be proportionate for lesser service period up to a minimum of 10 years of service.
ii. Assured family payout at the rate of 60% of payout admissible to the employee immediately before his/her demise to legally wedded spouse.
iii. Assured minimum payout of Rs.10,000 per month on superannuation after minimum 10 years of qualifying service.
iv. Inflation indexation on assured payout, on assured family payout, and assured minimum payout.
Dearness Relief will be based on All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AICPI-IW) as in case of serving employees.
v. Lump sum payment at superannuation in addition of gratuity at rate of 1/10th of monthly emoluments (basic pay+DA) as on the date of superannuation for every completed six months of service. This payment will not reduce the quantum of assured payout.
vi. There is no provision for return of contribution deducted from the salary of employees during their service, once the payout starts. However, UPS subscriber or the legally wedded spouse, as the case may be, shall have an option to withdraw an amount not exceeding 60% of the individual corpus or benchmark corpus, whichever is lower, available in the PRAN tagged to UPS on the date of superannuation or voluntary retirement or retirement under Fundamental Rules 56(j) subject to proportionate reduction in the assured payout payable to such UPS subscriber.
