2. Letter received from Rev. Fr.Joe Arun, Chairman, State Minorities Commission, dated 05.06.2026.

3. G.O.(Rt) No.78, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare (BC4(1)) Department, dated 15.07.2026.

ORDER:-

The Tamil Nadu State Minorities Commission is constituted as per Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu State Minorities Commission Act, 2010 (Act 21 of 2010). In the Government Orders first read above, the Tamil Nadu State Minorities Commission was reconstituted for a period of three years. In the letter second read above, the Chairman has resigned from his office of the Commission. As per Section 4 (2) of the said Act, the Government accepted his resignation vide the Government Order third read above.

2) The Government nominate Thiru Felix Gerald as Chairman of Tamil Nadu State Minorities Commission and he will hold the post for three years and the following Notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated the 5th August, 2026.
