ORDER:
Under Rule 4(2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, sanction is accorded for the creation of a temporary post of Principal Secretary / Commissioner, Economics and Statistics, in the Higher Administrative Grade of IAS for a period of one year with effect from the date of appointment, or till the need for it ceases, whichever is earlier.
2. Under Rule 4(2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, sanction is accorded for the creation of a temporary post of State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan in the Senior Scale of IAS for a period of one year with effect from the date of appointment, or till the need for it ceases, whichever is earlier.
3. The following transfers and postings are notified:-
(1) Thiru Satyabrata Sahoo, IAS, formerly Principal Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department, is posted as Principal Secretary / Commissioner, Economics and Statistics, in the post created in para 1 above vice Tmt. Kalaiselvi Mohan, IAS; and
(ii) Tmt. Kalaiselvi Mohan, IAS, Director, Economics and Statistics, is transferred and posted as State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, in the post created in para 2 above vice Dr. M. Aarthi, IAS, holding additional charge.
4. Under Rule 12(1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016, the Government declare that the post of Principal Secretary / Commissioner, Economics and Statistics, created in para 1 above be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of "Principal Secretary" as specified in Schedule II-A of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
5. Under Rule 12(1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016, the Government declare that the post of State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, created in para 2 above be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of "Director of Social Welfare" as specified in Schedule II-B of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
