Parent App is an app created by the Tamil Nadu State Education Department with a goal of engaging parents and the larger community towards the development of schools.
Parents can access information about their children’s attendance, scholastic and co-scholastic performance. Feedback can be provided on the management of the school and welfare schemes and scholarships offered.
Parents can view all data about the school - student enrollment, teacher details and infrastructure.
Members of the School Management Committee can collect data of the school and surrounding habitation to plan for the development of the school. All parents of the school can access the resolutions passed by this committee.
Parents can offer feedback across various categories like infrastructure, safety, learning and welfare schemes.
Parents can access resources on child development, education schemes and career options to support their children.
